The problem

A platform conversion isn't a signed retainer.

An advertising platform can report clicks, form submissions and calls. Those signals do not explain whether a prospect was suitable for the firm, attended a consultation or signed a retainer. A source with more inquiries is not necessarily the source producing more retained matters.

When the source is missing or changes between intake and the pipeline, even genuine outcomes become hard to trace. The firm needs a consistent connection between the originating source and the eventual business result—not another estimate of platform activity.

How CRM.law helps

Follow the recorded source beyond the first inquiry.

Capture source, not just channel

Keep acquisition source and contact channel separate. Source performance groups records into Paid Social, Paid Search, Organic Search, Referral, Existing Client, Direct / Website, Other and Unknown. Missing source information remains Unknown rather than being silently attributed.

Compare downstream outcomes

Firm Overview's source performance table brings together inquiries, completed consultations, verified retained matters and verified retainer value for the selected reporting period. Read those outcomes alongside lead volume to understand which recorded sources progress further.

Keep the evidence traceable

Attribution is protected; restricted changes go through an audited correction process. Reporting reflects the source stored in the CRM, which may be self-reported or imported. It is not proof of automatic click-level tracking or independent verification of an advertising platform's attribution.

The business impact

A more useful basis for marketing decisions.

Source-linked outcomes can help a firm ask better questions about lead quality and marketing investment. Compare recorded results over time, while accounting for missing source data and consultations that have not yet reached an outcome. Period totals are not a cohort conversion study.

Cost per case requires reliable acquisition spend and a defined count of retained matters for a comparable period. Those cost calculations and automatic advertising-platform imports are not currently included in this report. Verified retainer value by source is case value, not necessarily collected or earned revenue.

Evaluate marketing by the cases and value it produces, not just the activity platforms report.

Better Intake. Better Intelligence.

Bring business outcomes into the marketing conversation.
